The car world is going electric — and quickly. Popular attitudes toward climate change are shifting, legislative combustion engine bans are looming, and EV technology and charging infrastructure are improving. We’re seeing companies promising onslaughts of new electric cars built on dedicated EV platforms, and many current iconic vehicles will go electric soon as well. Brands that have leaned all into EVs are finding they can’t build them fast enough.

Not every automaker has pledged to go 100 percent electric yet. Some have projected dates far in the nebulous future. And some — particularly more mass-market manufacturers — have yet to set a date at all.

Here is when every automotive manufacturer plans to be all-electric.

Jaguar (2025)

Jaguar has announced plans to go all-electric by 2025. The brand will ditch the entire current lineup and relaunch with three all-new EVs — an SUV, a sedan and a four-door grand tourer — based on a new long-wheelbase JEA architecture.

Alfa Romeo (2027)

Alfa Romeo has a “fully locked and funded” product plan through 2030. Every new Alfa Romeo from 2025 onward will be electric. The lineup will go 100 percent electric by 2027.

Chrysler (2028)

Chrysler is reinventing itself as an electric brand. Plans call for the lineup to be completely electric by 2028.

Lotus (2028)

Lotus announced plans to be all-electric by the brand’s 80th birthday in 2028. However, the brand left room to push the exact date back to 2029.

Aston Martin (2030)

Aston Martin has confirmed that its “core” range of vehicles will be all-electric by 2030. There may still be special edition combustion models after that date.

Bentley (2030)

Bentley announced plans to be all-electric by 2030. Every Bentley sold from 2026 onward will be either electric or hybrid.

Buick (2030)

Buick has announced plans to fully electrify by 2030 ahead of General Motors going all-electric by 2035.

Cadillac (2030)

General Motors has said Cadillac will go entirely electric by 2030. Non-Escalade vehicles will likely depart the lineup earlier than that at the end of their model runs.

Genesis (2030)

Lexus (2030)

After sitting on the fence for some time, Toyota has announced ambitious electric vehicle plans. Part of those plans includes Lexus going all-electric in North America, Europe and China by 2030 (and all markets by 2035) — and an electric LFA successor may be on the way.

Maserati (2030)

Maserati will offer an EV version of each vehicle in its lineup by 2025 and only sell EVs by 2030.

Mazda

Mazda’s EV plans call full for a full-scale rollout of EV models between 2028 and 2030 and 25-40% of vehicle sales to be EVs by 2030.

Mercedes-Benz (2030)

Mercedes has an onslaught of electric vehicles coming including an electric edition of the G-Class. The brand has confirmed plans to go electric by 2030 … with the caveat that it may still sell combustion vehicles in markets that necessitate it.

Mini (2030)

Rolls-Royce (2030)

Honda (2040)

BMW

Dodge
