Why didn t Jacob imprint on Bella?
Imprinting just happens, no control. If Jacob didn't do it that day they saw each other after he'd joined the pack, it was never going to happen. He actually thought he'd never imprint because he loved Bella and he didn't believe he'd ever have the capacity to care any more about someone else.
By imprinting on Renesmee, Jacob has imbued her with protection from other werewolves in his tribe. Prior to taking her on as a romantic partner, Jacob would first act as an older brother to Renesmee until she grew up – which won't take long given her hybrid nature, which makes her age more quickly.
Bella's choice not to be with Jacob in the Twilight series is influenced by her romantic feelings for Edward, as well as the complex dynamics between the three characters.
She likely would have ended up with Jacob. Their two families are very close, so they would have spent a lot of time together. It's clear that the pair has chemistry and they are attracted to each other. Without Edward, she also wouldn't have had Renesmee, so he would never have imprinted on her child.
10. HE BECAME AN ALPHA TO PROTECT BELLA. As the great-grandson of Ephraim Black, it was actually Jacob's birthright to lead his generation's wolf pack and become its alpha. Jacob didn't have any interest in that responsibility, though, so he passed the title of alpha over to Sam Uley.
Once he imprinted on Renesme, the love he had for Bella shifted to her child. The whole philosophy behind his love for Bella was for him to stay connected to her bc of her child. Renesme was the reason his love was so strong and unwavering. But he wasn't aware of it until she was born.
Renesmee got married to Jacob and made Lucina her maid of honor. In Have A Purpose, Renesmee reveals that she is pregnant. She gives birth to Evan and Sarah and appointed Lucina as the godmother to her kids. Lucina marries Bryce before Long Live Life making Renesmee her maid of honor.
In the Twilight series, Bella initially gets upset with Jacob for imprinting on her daughter, Renesmee, because she doesn't understand the nature of imprinting. Imprinting in the Twilight universe is a werewolf phenomenon where a werewolf finds their soulmate and becomes unconditionally, irrevocably in love with them.
Jacob Was Attracted To Bella Because Of Her Baby He continued to have feelings for Bella up until she had her baby, Renesmee. He imprinted on her immediately. Since Jacob was into Bella before she was even pregnant, it could have been an attraction to her genetics and the child she would eventually create.
In the end, Bella may choose Edward because she loves him more, but that emotion is rooted in her loneliness.
What would have happened if Bella had chosen Jacob instead of Edward?
If Bella would have chosen Jacob , the 'The Breaking Dawn' would never have happened. The following things would have been different: Edward ,though, would have given up Bella easily(as it's her choice), but would have got depressed. Most probably, (as in New Moon)he would have gone to The Volturi to die.
Because Edward had more exposure to Bella sooner than Jacob, Bella may have perceived Edward as more familiar and thus more reassuring and pleasant (Schneider, Gruman, & Coutts, 2012). Had Jacob gone to the same school as Bella and been in closer proximity with her, perhaps she would have chosen him over Edward.
Bella knew how she felt about Edward practically since day one. She knew her feelings for him ran deeply, and that she would love him forever. When it's true love, it's true love. She loved Jacob too, but she knew it wasn't in the same way, and that he wasn't the one she wanted to spend the rest of her life with.
The newest generations would only transform if a cold one, a.k.a. a vampire, was near. When Jacob's father was a teenager, however, there were no vampires in the area, so the gene was dormant.
In the Twilight series, Jacob Black does not live forever with Nessie (Renesmee). Jacob's lifespan as a werewolf is not the same as that of vampires, and Renesmee, as a vampire-human hybrid, has her own unique destiny.
Imprinting is when a shape-shifting wolf imprints on another human being, their feelings are stronger than regular love. It is vividly described in detail in the Twilight Books, specifically in Eclipse. Jacob Black describes it as gravity moving, she's the one that holds you not anything else.
After Renesmee looked at Jacob in his eyes, he imprinted on her … but it doesn't necessarily mean that he fell in love with her while she was still a baby. Rather, Jacob's imprint on Renesmee created a bond between them that, hopefully, would be more protective than romantic.
Members of the Quileute wolf-pack do age if they do not phase for a long time; Jacob's body has physically grown to the equivalent of a 25-year-old in Breaking Dawn but stops aging after that. Jacob is the largest and strongest of the pack.
Renesmee got married to Jacob and made Lucina her maid of honor. In Have A Purpose, Renesmee reveals that she is pregnant. She gives birth to Evan and Sarah and appointed Lucina as the godmother to her kids.
As was stated by Stephanie Meyer in the book ECLIPSE, Jacob isn't aging. So he is infact going to be the same as long as he keeps changing to wolf. Once he stops, he will continue aging like a normal man. So I think Jacob would keep changing as long as he feels he needs to protect Renesme.
How old is Renesmee when she gets married?
Bella Swan & Renesmee Cullen (18 Years Old And 4 Months Old)
She marries Edward Cullen not long after becoming 18 and graduating from high school, but she doesn't become a vampire at the start of their relationship.
That's not the disturbing part. Jacob was never in love with Bella's unborn child. He wanted the pregnancy ended before the baby was born because Bella was dying. At that time, they didn't know whether the baby was a boy or a girl.
One character from The Twilight Saga who became an unexpected fan favorite is Charlie Swan, Bella's father, who by the end of the books and movies had no idea his only daughter had become a vampire – and here's why.
Edward says Renesmee is his niece, and that he and Bella are adopting her. Charlie, however, figures out the truth when he stares into Renesmee's chocolate brown eyes; his chocolate brown eyes. He agrees, however, to stick to the adoption as the public story to protect them.
Everybody always talks about the age gap between Bella and Edward, but never about Bella and Jacob. Isn't Bella like 17-18, and Jacob is 15-16? To me it gives off that creepy “senior dating a freshman” vibe.
